Our Founder and President, Pro Bowl and Super Bowl Champion Michael Robinson, has proven to be a favorite of fans, media, coaches and teammates, alike.  This Richmond, Virginia native has transformed from a small-town high school quarterback to Hollywood-ready star. In 2006 Michael was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers. After four years with the 49er’s, Michael felt he had gained incredible football knowledge and important on field experience and was ready and willing when he got the call from the Seattle Seahawks. Michael immediately hit the ground running in Seattle and his impact was evident both on and off the gridiron.  He brought the Seahawks instant offensive stability, securing his first Pro Bowl honors for the 2011-2012 season.  A favorite of teammates, coaches and fans, Michael’s athletic prowess and locker-room presence and leadership helped to lead the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl Championship in 2014. After 8 NFL seasons and 6 years as team captain, Michael decided to go out on top and retired in 2014 to pursue a career in Broadcasting.

In 2010, Michael founded his Excel to Excellence Foundation. Excel to Excellence develops innovative programs and strong partnerships that provide the resources, life experiences and environment to mold youth into healthy, educated leaders of tomorrow.

 

As part of his Foundation, Michael hosts the #1 Spring Football League, Excel to Excellence Youth Football,  in his hometown of Richmond, VA teaching football fundamentals, academics, sportsmanship and healthy competition.
